Makes 2-3 Pancakes

  • ½ cup of oats
  • 2-3 egg whites
  • 1 ripe banana

Method:

Blend oats and eggs whites

Mash banana separately

Add banana to oat mixture

Separate into small pancake size portions on a fry pan

Fry on non-stick pan

Approx. 2-3 minutes each side


cookies2-Minute Cookies

  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 1 small ripe banana
  • 1/3 cup of honey (or syrup)
  • ¼ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup of coconut milk
  • 3 cups of oats
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/3 cup of choc chips (optional)

Method:

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl

Place on a greased oven dish

Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours


fisg-cakesFish Cakes

  • 2 cups of chick peas (soaked overnight)
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 3 gloves of garlic
  • ¾ cup of tahini (or sesame seed paste)
  • ½ cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp of cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup of water, more if needed
  • Tuna, 2 tins

Method

Crush garlic

Mix all ingredients together and separate into patty sizes

Fry in non stick frying pan until browned either side

  • 3 cups of oats
  • 1 ½ cups of almond flour
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ½ unsweetened applesauce

Optional

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 banana
  • 1 scoop of protein powder

Method:

Mix all dry ingredents together and mix the wet ingredents sperately

Combine dry and wet until it is a dough like texture

Place in a pre-heated oven at 200-220 degrees celcius for 12-18 minutes

Let cool

Enjoy!


turkey-burgerDave’s Turkey Tuck Burgers

Makes 4 palm size burgers

  • 500g of Turkey Mince
  • Half a Red Onion
  • 1/2 cup of Oats
  • Tbsp of Garlic (chopped or seasoning)
  • Tbsp of Cinnamon

Method:

Fold all ingredients together

Take mixture into your hand, mold and flatten to about a 1/2 inch thick

fry in coconut oil on a hot pan

Leave for about 10-15 min per side

Let rest for 5 min

# Tip: Press your finger into the centre of the burger when you are finished molding. It will cook faster. For those guys out there that just can’t wait to eat……. Like me 😛
